Play: 43 Over- Zone Blitz
Playbooks: Many (ex: 46,43,etc)
Setup:
Step 1. Hit Coverage audible down and coverage audible right (this calls BNR and keeps the LB's in place)
Step 2. Re-blitz the RDE (left of screen) and WDT (directly to the right of the RDE)
Step 3. Stack the blitzing LB (located over the WDT) between the RDE and WDT
Step 4. Playmaker the SDT (directly to the right of the WDT) to perform a QB Contain
Step 5. Playmaker the LDE (right of screen) to perform a purple zone
This blitz brings heavy heat from the left side of the field. The SDT in the QB contain prevents the roll out to the right side of the field.
I like to manually play with the SS on this play. I cover the deep ball and rocket catches over the middle of the field.
Another great thing about this blitz is the hook zone the FS plays. When you lab this defense in practice mode, take a look at the play art. You will see that the FS's hook zone actually stretches out to the left sidelines instead of going straight down. This does a great job at defending a lot of the popular route this year.
Final Thoughts:
If you have time, I would recommend stacking the LB on the right side of the field in the right B Gap like you would on the Spy 3 Blitz to give the offense the same look so they do not know which blitz is coming.
